2025 went by incredibly fast, and so much happened that keeping up with posting wasn’t always possible. This year, though, feels like a reset — a chance to start fresh with new planners, new journals, and goals that feel more intentional and realistic.

Planners & Journal

2026 Planners and Journal

For 2025, I started using Sprouted Planner, my first Daily Planner. You can see my 2025 set-up in My intentions for 2025 post. This worked so well, and I was really happy with using it. As there were some changes made to the planners, I went in search of another daily planner.

Yet for 2026, I decided to use more planners than notebooks for my other journals as well. It was a personal choice. I noticed I wasn’t updating my journals as much as I liked, because I was spending too much time setting up the daily blocks and decorating everything. Or I spent a fair few weekends trying to catch up on missed days, so there weren’t any blank sections. It was taking away time with my family and too many late nights.

Daily LifePlanner Duo

This is my main planner, where every activity I do is planned and noted in here. I went with the Erin Condren Minimal Daily LifePlanner™ Duo. I loved how you could customise them. It’s also great that you can change the covers. So if you want to change your covers to match the seasons, planners from Erin Condren are for you.

Like some other daily planners, the year is split into two books with 6 months in each. If you are someone who likes stickers, Erin Condren also has sticker books you can buy to match the interior designs, which you can choose when you build your planner.

Reflections Planner

My Reflections is the [High Tide Notebook 2026] Nee Blue / A5 Vertical Planner. While I was looking at the Hobonichi, I wasn’t able to afford the price tag. So I went in search of similar weekly planners and found this one to try.

I found that using a blank notebook was more time-consuming than I thought it was going to be. I found that I was spending more time making each daily block, rather than just focusing on the content. So, I had the idea of using a weekly planner to allow me to do just that. It has proven to be a good choice so far, as I can just quickly reflect on the day.

Reading Journal

I think my reading journal will always be a dotted notebook. I have stuck with an Archer & Olives A5 notebook. This time I am using the Self Care Box 2025: Rest and Renew Box’s notebook (which is no longer available).

I love these notebooks because they give me the freedom to create without worrying about pens bleeding through. I usually only buy Archer & Olive notebooks as part of a box set, and for me, the value is absolutely there — everything matches and feels intentional. This particular set, being self-care themed, was a bonus, and I’ve previously picked up the Halloween box set as well, which included a calligraphy kit.

New Intentions

This year, my focus is on six key values. Although I’ve made a few small changes from last year, I’ve settled into a rhythm with my monthly intentions and weekly tasks. It works well for me, so I’ve kept the structure the same.

  • Wellness: working on regulating my emotions to set a better example for my children.
  • Relationships: focusing on more family time. To connect with everyone and close the distance.
  • Fitness: to be more active every day. Making time to work on losing weight.
  • Home: following my cleaning schedule, so as not to fall behind on the chores. [It is the same as last year.]
  • Creativity: experimenting with different media and doing more craft activities with my children.
  • Project: working on being more present on social media and this website.

I track each intention in the planner that best supports it. Wellness sits in my reflections planner, with space to check in on my mood, energy, stress, and anxiety, as well as a self-care bingo. Fitness, Home, and Relationships are part of my daily planner. As for its activities that I do them, and if it needs a tick or time, it goes in Daily. Like Date nights, Fitness sessions, and Cleaning time.

New Goals

I really hope that I can fulfil my tasks better this coming year. I really struggle with time management. It’s the reason I use a Daily Planner, so I can time block activities, plan the weeks and days. Yet, having a 1-year-old, flexibility is key. So I haven’t been able to plan things out very well. As I have cut out having to set up each week in a bullet journal, I have more time for things that matter.

Overall, I am looking forward to seeing how things improve over the next few months. Allowing things to change, grow, and evolve, I’m setting intentions that feel realistic for this season of life. These planners will simply be there to support the journey, wherever it leads.
